Title: Development of RLO's to teach stress reduction techniques in the workplace

Subject Coverage: VLE Usage, Health Sciences - Reducing occupational stress

Overview: A set of RLOs for professionals who work with people with mental health problems and people with intellectual disabilities. Focusing on the individual, the RLOs are intended to assist in managing and dealing with stress in the workplace. The lessons were developed using Articulate and contain multimedia elements along with feedback questionaires to rate the effectiveness of the lessons.

Title:  Introduction to Stress

Subject Coverage: Occupational stress reduction within the work place.

Overview: 

  • One of a set of learning sessions developed for the ROSE (Reducing Occupational Stress in Employment) project.
  • This RLR provides an introductory look at the causes and affects of stress. It provides lessons on the identification of key factors that can lead a person to get stressed, how to identify when you are stressed and how it can affect a person physically.
  • ROSE is an EU Leonardo da Vinci funded project aimed at reducing stress amongst staff working with people who have mental health problems and/or intellectual disabilities.

Title: Prevention of Stress

Subject Coverage: Occupational stress reduction within the work place.

Overview: 

  • One of a set of learning sessions developed for the ROSE (Reducing Occupational Stress in Employment) project. This RLR looks at ways in which a person can prevent stress. It provides a set of lessons on how sleep, diet and working irregular hours can impact on a persons stress levels, and how these are easily alleviated through making small changes in our lifestyle. ROSE is an EU Leonardo da Vinci funded project aimed at reducing stress amongst staff working with people who have mental health problems and/or intellectual disabilities.
