This symposium is open to all higher level engineering educators.

Following on from last year’s inaugural ISEE symposium, this symposium will encourage the sharing of ideas, innovations and best practice among those involved in the field of engineering education.

ISEE-08 will be of interest to those:

• Involved in teaching various engineering subjects and other subjects to engineering students such as science or maths at Third Level.
• Supporting staff and students in engineering departments
• Conducting research in engineering education

The focus of the conference lies in three main areas these are preparation of programmes for the Implementation the Bologna Treaty; implementation of learning outcome based accreditation; and methods for enhancing student engagement.

We will accept papers from wide-ranging areas in relation to engineering education; the following are some sample topics:
