EUROCALL is a professional organisation for the promotion of innovative research, development and practice in the area of Computer Assisted Language Learning (CALL) and Technology Enhanced Language Learning (TELL) in education and training. EUROCALL conferences bring together educators, researchers, administrators, materials developers, government representatives, vendors of hardware and software, and others interested in the field of CALL and TELL.
EUROCALL 2007 will take place at the University of Ulster, Coleraine Campus from 5-8 September with the theme ‘Mastering Multimedia: Teaching Through Technology’.
The organisers particularly welcome papers focusing on integrating new technologies into language learning. Presentations focusing on any other aspect of CALL research, development and practice are also welcomed, especially innovative uses both of established and of leading-edge technologies.

The 15th World Congress of Applied Linguistics will be held in Essen from August 24-29, 2008. The conference theme is “Multilingualism: challenges and opportunities.� The congress is organised by the German Association of Applied Linguistics (GAL e.V.), the University of Duisburg-Essen , Congress Centre Essen (CCE), and further partners.
AILA (Association Internationale de Linguistique Appliquée or International Association of Applied Linguistics) is inviting proposals for presentations that are related to policy, research and theory in the area of applied linguistics. Individual papers, posters, or symposia should be submitted by February 28 2007.
