Do you want to help influence the content and direction of your NDLR Modern Languages’ community website?
If so, why not submit your expression of interest in becoming a temporary (1-2 months) guest editor of this website, to reflect the needs of your community.

- What is the role?
To edit the NDLR Modern Languages’ blog

- How many editors?
We are looking for 6-8 volunteer guest editors for 2008
These would be rotated throughout the year

- Why a guest editor?
To enhance the level of community involvement
To reflect the needs of the community

- Why should I do it?
To contribute my expertise to the languages’ community
To highlight areas of interest in my particular teaching/research field
To increase my academic profile on a national HEA funded initiative

- Duration of the role?
One – two months, tailored to each persons availability

- How much do I need to do?
Post a minimum of one article per week
This can include news items, promotion of events, or links to interesting articles and websites, and highlighting interesting research and/or teaching initiatives that would be of interest to your colleagues

- What support?
The NUIG NDLR Modern Languages’ team will provide full support to the guest editor
Any articles can be sent to the team who will upload them to the blog on your behalf

- Who can apply?
Any member of the NDLR Modern Languages’ community

- How can I apply?
