European Award for Languages
Our members will be delighted to know that on September 26th, the European Day of Languages, ‘The Modern Languages Community of Practice Blog as a Community Building Medium‘ was awarded a European Award for Languages.
Project coordinators Paul Gormley (Sept ‘06 – Nov ‘07) & Michelle Tooher (Nov ‘07 – Nov ‘08) were present to accept the award presented by Simon Coveney, TD.
The Modern Languages’ CoP blog was one of fifteen projects, which “demonstrated excellence, dedication and innovation in language teaching and learning,” to receive an award.
