It is hoped to develop object-based animations through the emerging collaboration with the NMI.

Institutional Coverage: So far the project has involved collaboration with Castletown House and the National Library. As said, collaboration with the NMI is under discussion. Since the author is currently working as digital researcher at TRIARC (Trinity Irish Art Research Centre), I intend to integrate our large collections of online resources (repositories of images from the Crookshank-Glin, Rae and Gothic collections held by the centre) into the learning tools created. In terms of formation of a CoP, I have provisional agreement for collaboration from Dr. Catherine Lawless of UL, Dr. Jenifer Ní Ghrádaigh of UCC, Dr. Alison FitzGerald of NUI Maynooth; I have also discussed the development of a CoP with the head of the history of art department at UCD.  Responses to the development of a CoP have been really positive, and it is intended to hold a seminar at TRIARC in February/March 2010, once a strong set of resources have been developed through the NDLR funding.
